renewals. Requests for demo's/fly-ins to receive insurance cover. Data-base administration
all OK.

NATIONALS
Soaring Nats very successful - 32 entries, up from previous years. Good organisation.
Attendance by Zim fliers encouraging. Financially successful, with donation from MGA to
Silverton. No frequency problems reported.

Hits on Web site increasing.

PUBLIC RELATIONS
BS and MQ to meet Friday 6th to discuss strategy/workload.

GENERAL
* Question regarding Vintage activity: Vintage Chapter management want to maintain low
profile, to ensure social aspect. Too much structured admin and committee meetings may
prevent participation.
* Committee members to pursue idea of re-structuring SAMAA, for more representation in
other areas (like AMA, BMFA, and others).
* Colours award ceremony - all invitees accepted.
* Air Pageant for 2003. BS to contact D Armitage with offer of project leader. Imperative
that sponsor be found.
* Discussion on funding of chairman's participation at December Bureau meeting. Ad-hoc grant
approved.
* Club matters - RMAC finally received permission to erect club house.

Meeting closed at 21:30.

NEXT MEETING - WEDNESDAY 8th NOVEMBER 2000 AT SBBW, CEDARWOOD OFFICE PARK, WOODMEAD -
19:30 for 19:45.
