JHB to NELSPRUIT Take the highway that goes past Springs/ Benoni ( N12 I think ) and head off towards Witbank. Dont turn off the highway until you get to Nelspruit. ( about 300km) There are two toll gates along the route. Izak Theron posted a detour last week of the first tollgate at Middleburg. The second tollgate at Machadodorp can be missed by taking the FARREFONTEIN turn-off +- 1km before the tollgate itself. ( left turn off) go to T-junction and turn right. Go about another 8 km and you shall end up back on the N4 towards Nelspruit. Take to route to Nelspruit VIA SKOEMANSKLOOF ( after Machadodorp ) this is much qiucker with less traffic, no cops, no trucks and taxi's, and a much better view. PTA to NELSPRUIT Same as above except when you leave PTA you take the Witbank highway ( N4 I think ) For those who are staying at the SABI STAR CHALETS folow the SABI signs after the SKOEMANSKLOOF ROAD. When you get into SABI you will come to a 3 way STOP street with a SPUR restaurant on your right hand side. Turn right here and go for about 5km and you will come to the sign board of SABI STAR CHALETS on your right-hand-side. When you want to get to the slope from SABI take the SABI / WHITE RIVER road. Travell for about 8km or so and you will see the HENDRIKSDAL turnoff to the right.Turn right towards HENDRICKSDAL ( becomes a dirt road) and travell for EXACTLY 3km, the road shall make a sharp right with a split off to the left on the turn. GO on the left split for EXACTLY 2.5km where the road shall split again to the left and right. Take the left split again and travel for 1km and you shall be at the top of the slope. When you get to the slope drive up to the CROSS RUNWAY turn left on to the runway and the go untill the next runway paralel to the slope face, go left down the runway and follow the tracks of the cars in the grass and park where the rest of the cars are. If you are coming from Nelspruit side, go to White River and take the Sabi road. Drive for about 30km until you see the HENDRIKSDAL sign on you left, then turn left and follow the directions as above.
