Krugersdorp Slope Site

Do not fly from this site. It is well within 5Kms of the West Rand Aeromodelling Club and Durban Deep Radio Flyers. This restriction is due to radio interference with flying at these registered sites.

Probably the best ( safest for a bigginer) is Krugersdorp Hill. Easy to get
to...
Go out towards Tarlton on Hendrick Potgieter from the west rand. When you
get to the Krugersdorp/Pta Highway turn left up the hill. When you/them/they
get past the crest of the hill, you will notice a turn off to the left
small sign board that says "private property") and an old farm style gate.
Turn left in here and follow to the top ( about 1km). I know paragliding
people fly off this site, and I even think there is a ramp for them to
launch off.

I think this might be a better slope for begginers as it has friendly winds,
nice lift band and NO houses to crash into, no towers to dodge, no power
lines, no telephone lines etc etc etc.....but not sure if it is SAMAA
registered yet.
